This event is for both flight instructors and non-instructors alike. It will be especially beneficial for:
  • Pilots who would like to become a flight instructor.
  • Inactive flight instructors looking for part-time or full-time instructing opportunities.
  • Flight instructors moving to Arizona looking for work.
  • Pilots who would like more information about flight training activities.

Planned presentations include:

  • Benefits of becoming a flight instructor.
  • Briefing on flight training activities in the Phoenix area.
  • Medical information for flight instructors.
  • Sport Pilot/LSA briefing.
  • Update on Luke AFB airspace and operations.

Several Arizona-based flight schools will have tables and displays set up to share information about their companies. Flight schools who want to sponsor a table/display need to contact the Arizona Flight Training Workgroup (AFTW) for more information.

February 4th is the day after the Super Bowl. One objective of this event is to encourage pilots in the Phoenix area to NOT FLY due to heavy traffic on February 4th. Click HERE for the FAA NOTAM.
